Government to allow the race to take place, without public.
I wonder if that's possible for Le Mans, considering that it's a big social event and not just a race.

T hey’re looking for ways to restart the football league in Germany(without fans, obviously) . That area is trending towards the Swedish/Dutch model of coping with the pandemic. That’s what the Germans and Austrians were planning from the beginning but, like the British, they panicked when they’ve seen the thousands of deaths from Italy and suspended everything.

Oh they are certainly trying to do that with nation al sport leagues down here. However, state borders are generally closed to nonessential travel so the Rugby League (for example) would have to bring 500-600 people into one location in order to get some semblance of a season started. Big challenge...
International sporting events in Oz like the F1 will be nonstarters until this time next year given our international border is likely to be closed to outbound Australians until December at least and inbound noncitizens for much longer . There is talk of an Oz/NZ ‘bubble’ however which may form sooner and makes some sense.
